Insurance
Our office will be happy to file your insurance as a courtesy to you. In our practice, we accept over 100 insurance plans. Many employers offer a variety of health benefits to their employees and orthodontic coverage is usually one of them. All insurance coverage must be verified prior to the initial consultation. This allows us to more accurately estimate your out-of-pocket costs at your exam. We are happy to work with you and your insurance company to enable you to receive the maximum benefit possible. We realize that understanding orthodontic insurance can be difficult and we welcome any questions that you might have.
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. This benefit is paid as a percentage of the orthodontic fee until the maximum has been reached. Most plans pay the covered amount over the length of treatment rather than initially paying the entire benefit. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action.
